Spring has sprung! A gorgeous weekend of sunshine mingled with shopping trips and walks. Fantastic to come back and relax in the hot tub gazing at the stars.

everything you need. The owners are friendly and welcoming and the Hot Tub is the icing on the cake after a long day shopping in York or just after dinner in one of the pubs nearby. We will be returning as soon as we can. Helen

Just perfect. We stumbled across Owl Barn Cottage on the internet by chance and certainly don't regret choosing it as our base for the few days that we spent exploring North Yorkshire. The cottage has been beautifully renovated to a very high standard and the hot tub is the icing on the cake. With Sky Sports, a jacuzzi bath and power shower and two very cosy bedrooms you could not ask for more. The owners live next door and so are on hand if there are any problems (which there weren't) and recommended an excellent Indian Restaurant (Saffron Spice) in a nearby village - one of the best Indian's we've had. Just 10 minutes from York Park and Ride, 40 minutes from Harrogate and under the hour to Dalby Forest for any mountain bikers it is nicely situated for exploring the surrounding

Guest Book -Thank You for providing us with a wonderful base for our Christmas shopping trip. The barn is wonderfully relaxing, very contemporary and comfortable and has the perfect log fire to enjoy on a winter's night. Loved the hot tub, the comfy bed and having wi fi to run our business from. Can't wait to spend Christmas 2012 here!
Google - We have had a lovely 10 days at Owl Barn Cottage, the standard of accommodation was superb. The weather was minus degrees but the barn was really warm all the time, the hot tub was great fun and very relaxing, We loved having Sky Sports so we didn’t have to miss any footy, we have already booked for next year it was so good.

Google -We have just returned from a very relaxing stay at the Owl Barn Cottage. Cosy yet contemporary, it was perfect for our needs. Lots of mod cons made for a very comfy stay - and the wood burner, underfloor heating, jacuzzi bath and hot tub meant we were always warm and snug - even in the windy November weather. Location-wise it was surrounded by countryside but also close enough to York for easy access to the city (we recommend the Park and Ride - free parking and plenty of buses operating the 10 min drive to the city centre). The owners are very friendly and welcoming - they go the extra mile to make you feel at home. We'll definitely be returning to explore more of the area.
